As a dedicated and organized Staff Development Coordinator (RN) , you will play a vital role in our skilled nursing facility team in Pawtucket, RI. We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven professional to plan, coordinate, and conduct orientation, education, and ongoing training programs for nursing staff to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and promote high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement training programs to enhance nursing staff skills and knowledge, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Design and deliver orientation programs for new staff members, incorporating introductions to our facilities, policies, and procedures
• Conduct ongoing training sessions and workshops to address specific topics, such as medication administration, wound care, and infection control
• Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for program improvements
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordination and consistency in training and education
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role or as a registered nurse
•Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Rhode Island
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
