This role drives sales through expertise, professionalism, and customer service, providing current, relevant information. They act as front-line representatives, building customer retention and fostering trust through integrity, respect, and friendliness.

Essential Functions of the Job include the following, with other duties as assigned:

• Customer Interaction: Greet patrons warmly, assist buyers, follow up with customers, and build lasting relationships.
• Operational Duties: Maintain inventory knowledge, update VIN Solutions with customer information, and meet sales goals.
• Appearance & Professionalism: Wear required Fox Valley branded attire; jeans, shorts, and athletic shoes are not permitted.
• Service & Facility: Demonstrate product value, explain vehicle features, and maintain the lot (including snow removal).
• Team Participation: Attend weekly meetings and assist other departments.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• None.

Required Education and Experience

• High school education or equivalent, plus specialized training.
• One year of basic automotive dealership and/or general sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge: Office practices (accounting, software) and principles of customer service, sales, and marketing.
• Skills: Active listening, excellent communication, monitoring performance, negotiation, service orientation, and social perceptiveness.
• Abilities: Category flexibility, persuasion, and problem sensitivity.

Physical, Mental, and Visual Demands

• Occasional lifting/moving of items (5-25 lbs).
• Continuous mental attention, visual demand, and manual dexterity.
• Repetitive or diverse tasks requiring constant alertness.

Working Conditions

• Good conditions with occasional exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, or chemicals.
