We are seeking an experienced Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, managing multiple priorities, solving problems, and supporting the sales process from initial inquiry through order completion.

The successful candidate will be a highly organized, customer-focused professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in commercial lighting, electrical products, manufacturing, or another technical/industrial industry is helpful, but not required.

Position Summary

The Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative serves as an important connection between our customers, outside sales team, and internal departments. This position is responsible for providing responsive and knowledgeable customer support, processing and managing orders, preparing quotes, answering product and order questions, and helping ensure an excellent customer experience.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple customer requests and orders simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide exceptional customer service to customers, sales representatives, and agents.

· Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by phone and email.

· Prepare and process customer quotes, orders, order changes, and related documentation.

· Enter customer orders accurately and verify pricing, quantities, product information, shipping requirements, and requested delivery dates.

· Monitor open orders and proactively communicate status updates, delays, changes, or potential issues.

· Assist customers with product availability, lead times, pricing, shipping information, and general product questions.

· Work closely with outside Regional Sales Managers to support agents when applicable.

· Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Production, Shipping, Accounting, and other internal departments to resolve customer questions and order-related issues.

· Develop strong working relationships with customers and become a trusted point of contact.

· Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsiveness during challenging customer situations.
