Business Analyst

We are working with a leading global quantitative proprietary trading firm looking to hire a Business Analyst into its Chicago team. This is a broad, high-impact role sitting close to the business, combining trading operations, process automation, strategic analysis and business development. You’ll work in a small, collaborative environment with significant ownership and exposure to senior decision-makers. Key responsibilities: Manage and improve day-to-day business and trading processes Partner with accounting teams on daily reconciliations Work directly with brokers and exchanges to investigate and resolve discrepancies Identify opportunities to automate and streamline operational workflows Analyse business performance and provide insights to support strategic decisions Research new markets, opportunities and areas for business expansion Develop relationships with exchanges, vendors and other industry partners What they’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree, ideally in an analytical or quantitative discipline Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Advanced Excel skills and an interest in process automation Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Genuine interest in financial markets and quantitative trading Ability to take ownership and operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment Experience within proprietary trading, market making or a closely related firm is highly desirable Competitive compensation and benefits on offer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
