This facility provides comprehensive pulmonary and critical care services with established ICU capabilities and inpatient consultation services. The hospital maintains modern critical care equipment and protocols to support specialized pulmonary procedures and emergency interventions. The facility operates with dedicated support staff including advanced practice providers to ensure quality patient care delivery.

This area features diverse attractions including the Biltmore Estate, North Carolina Arboretum, and natural sites such as waterfalls and wildlife tours. Visitors can explore outdoor destinations like Jockey's Ridge State Park, the Outer Banks beaches with their lighthouses, and Linville Caverns. The region also offers entertainment venues such as Charlotte Motor Speedway, Bank of America Stadium, and educational sites like Duke University.

The clinician will provide comprehensive pulmonary critical care coverage including ICU rounding with a typical daytime census of 1218 patients plus new consults. Responsibilities include inpatient pulmonary and critical care consultations along with swing and night shift cross-coverage and consult management with advanced practice provider support. The position requires performing bedside procedures on an as-needed basis during day and night shift coverage.
