Senior Account Executive - Commercial FlooringPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to drive sales and strategic growth in our commercial flooring division. This role combines business development, client relationship management, and project oversight to secure and deliver medium-to-large commercial flooring projects. This role is ideal for someone seeking the next step in their career with the ability to make a measurable impact on a growing operation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business and grow existing accounts within commercial segments to meet or exceed revenue targets.Qualify leads, build and manage a sales pipeline, prepare and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations to owners, facility managers, architects, and contractors.Provide product specification support and consultative recommendations for carpet, resilient flooring, polished concrete, luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and luxury vinyl plank (LVP) based on performance, budget and design requirements.Coordinate internally with estimating, operations, project management and installation teams to ensure accurate scopes, timely delivery and quality installation.Negotiate pricing, contracts and terms; manage change orders and ensure profitability on assigned projects.Serve as primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, scheduling site visits, resolving issues, and maintaining strong customer relationships for repeat business.Track market trends, competitor activity and product innovations; represent the company at industry events, trade shows and client meetings.Maintain accurate records in CRM, prepare sales forecasts and regular reports for leadership, and meet assigned sales metrics and KPIs.QualificationsBachelors degree in Business, Construction Management, Interior Design or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.Minimum 5+ years of direct sales experience in commercial flooring or building products with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.Hands-on knowledge of commercial flooring products including carpet, resilient flooring, polished concrete, LVT and LVP and their appropriate applications.Strong project management skills with experience coordinating multi-party projects, managing timelines, budgets and quality control.Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar), Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with estimating software is a plus.Valid drivers license, willingness to travel regionally to project sites and client meetings as required.Self-motivated, results-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.Benefits- Base Salary: $80K-$120K - OTE: 125K-175K (Top producers earn over $250K+)- Medical- Vision- Dental- 401K- Flexible schedule- Car allowance- Paid business expenses
