Practice at a leading community and academic medical center Work within a designated Level II Trauma Center Be part of a recognized New York State Stroke Center with 24/7 specialist support Collaborate with a team recognized by the American Stroke Association with the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Achievement Award Enjoy a dynamic practice with broad procedural and clinical responsibilities Position Summary As an Emergency Department Physician Assistant, you will participate in all aspects of emergency care, including: Patient assessment, triage, and management Emergency resuscitation and stabilization Fast Track evaluation and treatment Performing emergency procedures, including:Intubation Chest tube insertion Central venous line placement Other advanced bedside procedures Development and implementation of treatment plans Patient education and discharge planning Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes This is a full-time, rotating shift position that includes days, evenings, nights, and up to two weekends per month.
