About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Corporate Controller to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a strategic business partner, overseeing global controllership, accounting, tax, treasury, compliance, and financial operations. This role is pivotal in defining and implementing scalable business processes, advising on revenue models, and ensuring operational excellence to support the company's significant domestic and international growth. The VP, Corporate Controller will lead a high-performing finance team, influence at all levels, and drive business goals by providing essential financial, operational, and governance insights. Key responsibilities include providing in-depth revenue recognition expertise, owning the integrity of SaaS business metrics, and directing all global accounting operations. The role also involves proactive engagement in deal structuring, supporting strategic vendor negotiations, and leading finance systems and transformation initiatives. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, a CPA license, and a strong background in SEC, FASB, and GAAP. Big 4 audit experience is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading global teams, particularly in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. Experience in the software and SaaS industry, as well as a strong understanding of financial systems and technology, is essential. The role requires exceptional prioritization skills, the ability to handle multiple projects, and a focus on process improvement and automation. Bonus points for experience in IPO readiness, SEC reporting, and operating as a public company.
