Duties

Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Participates in the development of the national budget for the MVP.
• Provides financial advice and performs financial analysis duties to advance the successes of the program.
• Manages the national MVP budget by gathering the needs of all components of the MVP sites and Coordinating Centers.
• Serves as a contractor officer representative (COR) with direct oversight of scientific genomic contracts that support the national MVP.
• Takes a lead role in coordinating MVP's annual budget submission for the national program, manage amendments and communications to the Coordinating Centers and sites.
• Tracks funding obligations to confirm timely, accurate payment of deliverables; and ensures that all services rendered deliver a clear benefit to the program.
• Monitors the execution of the operating budget to assure that funds are properly allocated.
• Serves as a liaison and focal point of all site budgetary requests.
• Coordinates the development of financial agreements.
• Coordinates budget expenditures.
• Provides financial advice that is consistent with personnel policy and performs financial analysis duties.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
