Garibaldi Portside Bistro is hiring a Line Cook! We are looking for a dedicated cook to prepare meals, follow establishment recipes, and work efficiently in our fast-paced kitchen environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Set up, clean, and organize workstations. Prepare ingredients (washing, chopping, seasoning) for the shift. Handle multiple food orders simultaneously while maintaining quality standards. Ensure food health and safety procedures are followed strictly. Assist other cooks and team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Properly store food and sanitize workstations and utensils. Requirements: High school degree or equivalent. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time in a high-pressure environment. Physical endurance to stand for entire shifts and lift 25+ lbs. Legally able to work in establishments serving alcohol. Must pass a background check. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred. Benefits & Schedule: Paid training available. We offer a 4-day work week schedule, though flexibility is required during peak summer and holiday tourist seasons.
