Manufacturing Planner - Drilling Services

Job Purpose Prepares production schedules. Establishes sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates.Roles & Responsibilities· Date manages new orders as per procedure· Revise pick date, ship date and ship date as per production meetings· Raise work order, communicate with production/workshop/buyers/machine shop to ensure all necessary work is completed· Identify key list of orders and chase up with buyers and planners on these daily· Communicate with vendors for key purchase order items as well· Any other tasks requested by the planning supervisor/manager or the manufacturing managerExperience & EducationREQUIRED· 1-3 years planning/scheduling experience in an MRP-driven manufacturing environment. · College degree in business or technical disciplineKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesREQUIRED· Strong organization and time-management skills. · Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.· Good understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) · Good communication skills (oral and written).
