We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Scheduler to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX .

If selected you will:

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for production and processing services ensuring alignment with program milestones and on-time deliveries.
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of detailed production schedules across the EVA (Extravehicular Activity ) program.
• Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership
• Serve as the planning focal for program hardware builds, from procurement through delivery.
• Develop, maintain, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Coordinate with department supervisors to monitor production progress and completion dates
• Own capacity planning, make/buy decisions, and scenario modeling to inform critical path strategies.
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize build sequencing and resource allocation.
• Track production KPIs, generate dashboards, and deliver planning insights.
• Analyze production data to optimize lead times, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
• Perform additional job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a field or in a related area.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, supply chain, industrial engineering, or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly and testing of critical hardware.
• 10+ years of production planning or project management experience using Microsoft Project, preferably in the aerospace field.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed scheduling decisions.
• Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated organization skills to meet tight deadlines with high quality results.
