Must-Have Skills/Experience: Texas licensure as an RN, LCSW, LMSW, LPC, and/or LPC-A preferred. Orientation is biweekly on Mondays. Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered for travel. All travelers must have required certifications prior to start. Familiarity with managing patients in emergency settings is preferred but not required. This position serves all ages and includes patients with common diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and psychosis. The ideal candidate should remain calm during crisis management and be patient-focused. The work environment consists of 7 beds with a patient ratio of 2:7. Equipment includes a computer, vitals machine, and breathalyzer. Electronic Health Records used are Medik and OnBase. The supervisor for this position is a Senior Director of Outpatient Services. Dress code requires scrub colors of black or blue. Business casual attire is unacceptable.
