Service Electrician - Hillsborough County

MCS is hiring for a Service Electrician in Tampa, Florida . This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits. Responsibilities Installing, repairing, or replacing electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber‑optic line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts. Installing, repairing, or replacing generators and industrial storage batteries. Installing electrical circuits, panels, conduit, protective devices, switches, and equipment needed to meet CEC and/or NEC. Installing, maintaining, and calibrating industrial equipment and connected devices. Testing electrical equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance. Analyzing electrical failures and replacing components when production time is affected. Performing preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems, including power distribution equipment. Correcting connections and wiring on equipment controls where incorrect application may cause harmful conditions. Maintaining maintenance records. Performing basic and advanced troubleshooting. Complying with industry standards and procedures, including safety rules and regulations. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. Journeyman License preferred. Minimum 3 years of electrician experience. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints. Strong team spirit; ability to work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering services. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime if necessary. Ability to climb ladders.
