Contract Server/Barista
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Contract Server/Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include preparing and serving beverages, taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. The candidate must be able to work flexible hours and have strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and dining area
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
