Job Description

The Electrician is tasked with the installation, termination, testing, and commissioning support of electrical systems associated with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facilities. This role ensures compliance with project specifications while performing duties such as AC and DC cable terminations, equipment connections, grounding installation, testing, and quality inspections.

Essential Skills

• Journeyman Electrician license in the state of NM EE98J.
• Active OSHA 10 Card
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, renewable energy, substation, or BESS electrical work.
• Proven experience in performing AC and DC terminations.
• Knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety standards.
• Proficiency in using multimeters, torque tools, and standard electrical testing equipment.
• Experience leading and working alongside apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate AC and DC cables.
• Connect electrical equipment and ensure proper grounding installation.
• Conduct testing and commissioning support for electrical systems.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents.

This is an outdoor environment, Schedule is 13 days on, 1 day off.

The pay range for this position is $75.33 - $75.33/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Los Lunas,NM.
