Reports to: Project Director Location: Chattanooga, Houston, Remote Supervises: Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, Field Engineers, Project Superintendents, Co-Ops and Interns Works closely with: Owners, Project Directors, Project Engineers, Field Construction Staff, Preconstruction, Procurement, Scheduling, Quality, and Safety

Role Overview: The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for leading the full lifecycle execution of Signal Energy's most complex and strategically significant utility-scale solar EPC projects. The SPM operates with a high level of independence and judgment, ensuring safe, timely, and financially disciplined delivery. In addition to core project leadership responsibilities, the SPM plays a pivotal role in developing future project leaders, elevating project management standards, and reinforcing the culture and operating rhythms of Project Delivery. This role requires an experienced, forward-thinking project leader who can navigate significant technical, commercial, and contractual challenges, strengthen relationships with clients and partners, and model the behaviors expected across Signal's project teams.

Primary Skills/Experience/Abilities:

• Demonstrated leadership of large-scale EPC construction projects, preferably utility-scale solar or renewable energy.
• Advanced knowledge of EPC execution, engineering workflows, procurement strategy, and construction sequencing.
• Mastery of financial reporting, cost controls, and commercial management.
• Exceptional communication – verbal, written, and interpersonal – with strong client-facing presence.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and mentor developing project talent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of ownership and initiative.
• Proficiency in project management software (P6, MS Project) and financial systems.

Preferred Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, renewable energy, or related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a role leading complex or large-scale EPC projects.
• Preferred Certificates/Licenses: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. OSHA 10 or 30-hour safety certification. First Aid/CPR Certification.
