Social Strategist BSSP is seeking a Social Strategist with a proven track record in the sports, gaming, and entertainment industries. The ideal candidate will combine a deep personal passion for these spaces with strong, demonstrated experience in executing, high-performing social strategy campaigns. You'll help build and shape our Sports and Entertainment division, turning stories about the brand, its players, and its impact across California into content people actually want to follow. This role blends editorial thinking, cultural instincts, and platform expertise to create an always-on Instagram presence that earns attention. If you know what works on Instagram-and more importantly why-we should talk. What You'll Do- Help shape the social strategy and editorial voice for clients
- Spot stories, trends, and cultural moments worth showing up in.
- Partner with creatives to brief and develop social-first content.
- Bring a sharp POV on what makes great Instagram content and video.
- Use platform behaviors, formats, and trends to guide smarter creative.
- Grow and engage a community of fans and followers.
- Define success metrics and turn insights into better content.
- Work across teams to surface product, cultural, and brand stories worth telling.
- 4-5 years in social strategy or social-first creative environments.
- Deep understanding of Instagram,Tik Tok culture, formats, and engagement dynamics.
- Experience building always-on brand channels with a clear voice.
- Strong instincts for creators, communities, and culturally relevant content.
- Ability to translate social insights into creative opportunities.
- Experience collaborating with creatives, producers, and cross-functional teams.
- A strong passion for Sports, Entertainment and Gaming.
- Have strong opinions on what makes social creative resonate.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments.
Bay Area Based/On Site The pay range for this role is: 95,000 - 125,000 USD per year (Sausalito)
