The Klein College of Science Office of Advising will provide academic advising services to all majors in the College of Science. The primary purpose of the Office is to provide academic advising using a developmental model. Using a developmental model approach, Academic Advisors work with students so that students develop the knowledge, skills and personal accountability needed to explore their academic and co-curricular options, evaluate and track their own progress toward graduation, access support and enrichment services, and understand and follow university policies and timelines. Advising services encompass a range of interactions with students, from virtual to in-person individual and small group meetings to email and social media, among others.
