We’re not there yet, but it’s what we’re working toward with every hire and every person who walks through our doors.**Job Summary**Responsible for administrative functions and projects supporting ministry work (this can include assisting different ministry leaders, project communication, leading volunteers, etc.). This role also supports the ministry leader(s) in an administrative capacity. Many functions will be accomplished by leading volunteers who are completing these tasks and projects. Must be able to cast vision to volunteers so they understand how performing their responsibilities fits into the bigger Crossroads vision. While many tasks/projects and a huge number of details are involved, developing and caring for people executing these tasks is a priority.**Principal Duties and Responsibilities*** Responsible for leading, developing, and building a volunteer team who complete administrative functions and projects for the team.* Develop authentic ongoing relationships with leaders and volunteers of ministry teams and their administrative teams.* Division of responsibilities will depend on which team or ministry you support: + At a site, the role supports multiple ministries in project and administrative needs. + In a specific ministry, the role supports all team members in project and administrative needs.* Maintain and communicate project timeline to the team.* Lead all meeting and event preparation (facilities request, room stock, RSVPs, food, agenda, print materials, etc.).* Act as frontline for billing, establishing vendors, and approving payment or directing them as appropriate.* Manage the day-to-day/weekly inventory and place timely orders for products (such as pens, bibles, office supplies, stock printed material, etc.) from the central buying system.* Work collaboratively with all ministries and site teams.**Education Requirements*** High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.**Experience/Skills Requirements*** Experience developing and leading high capacity volunteer leaders.* Ability to effectively communicate with staff, volunteer leaders, and the community at large.* Excellent oral and written communication skills.* Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks.* Organized, disciplined with priorities, and meticulous attention to detail.* Experience with Mac/PC, Internet Explorer/Chrome/Safari, Google Software, and Microsoft Suite.* Comfortable learning new software systems to manage project requests.* Ability to see the big picture and simultaneously attend to details.* Perform effectively under pressure, and against strict time constraints.**Physical Requirements*** Must be able to walk up to 3 miles, standing, climbing, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, and stooping as duties required.* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.**Schedule/Travel Requirements*** Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends (depending on ministry or site placement) and other high impact events at Crossroads (ie Super Bowl of Preaching, Easter, Christmas Eve, etc.).* Travel as needed for staff meetings.**Crossroads Staff Qualities**Qualities all staff teammates should exhibit:* Mission Oriented: Committed to the Crossroads mission and expectations in the staff “I Promise” document, including using the Bible as the ultimate standard of truth, practicing spiritual disciplines, tithing, and pursuing personal purity.* Availability: Expected to work outside of “normal” schedule for All Hands on Deck high-impact events (Holy Week/Easter, Super Bowl, Christmas, others as needed), participate in all-staff meetings, day of solitude, offsites, etc.* Authenticity: Communicates clearly, directly, and honestly, even under stress, and does so with a sustained positive attitude and demeanor.* Personal Leadership: Envisions, energizes, and enables others to operate at full potential.* Collaborative Self-starter: Thrives as an individual contributor and works well on a team.* Proactive Problem Solver: Takes initiative to understand departmental objectives, adapts to changing and fluid environments, and proactively solves problems.* Humility: Puts others above self and takes ownership of mistakes.* Learner: Desires growth and learning from others.* Flexibility: Able to quickly shift between projects as organizational direction and needs change, able to successfully balance competing priorities.Crossroads Church is an equal opportunity employer.
