This position will support the AM Engineering Group by leading technical project manager, program manager, production team, and engineers. It will help engineers with project management tasks using Agile‑inspired methods to keep projects on track. The focus of this role will be on lower‑level detail items that roll up into the high‑level task order (including production, engineering support, customer support, and quality). Responsibilities include tracking daily schedules, formatting raw technical or financial information into desired formats, and coordinating schedule, cost, and deliverables with program management teams. The role will also use an ERP system to assist with project management tasks that inform the overall project timeline/effort. Additional duties include reviewing deliverables before submission, providing customer‑facing support, presenting data, and transmitting information as requested. Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) is a must. Minimum Qualifications P1 Requirements Associate’s degree in business management, a technical field, or equivalent. 2 years of experience in project management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in MS Project for program management. Experience creating professional briefings and communications using MS PowerPoint. Attention to detail. Effective interpersonal communication skills. Successful collaboration within a multi‑disciplinary team. Effective verbal communication with clients at all levels. Self‑motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be a U.S. citizen due to federal research contract requirements. P2 Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business management, technical, or equivalent with 3+ years of professional work experience. Familiarity with Agile project management. 2 years of experience in project management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in MS Project for program management. Experience creating professional briefings and communications using MS PowerPoint. Attention to detail. Effective interpersonal communication skills. Successful collaboration within a multi‑disciplinary team. Effective verbal communication with clients at all levels. Self‑motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be a U.S. citizen due to federal research contract requirements. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Agile Project Management. Agile Scrum Master certificate. DAU Level I or II Life Cycle Logistics certification or PMP certification. Working knowledge of U.S. Air Force policies and procedures. 5+ years of business, finance, or technical project management experience. Experience using an ERP system (Global Shop preferred). Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment. Demonstrated successful experience in proposal writing. Experience working with engineering and technical teams and projects.
