A Phoenix-based logistics operation specializing in last-mile and freight transportation, using technology and a large carrier network to coordinate delivery of bulky goods and other shipments across North America.

Logistics Specialist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 19.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads for customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system
• Update account managers on problem load and what actions have been taken: update receivers and customer on status of loads
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify that loads have arrived on time and in good condition
• Take check calls from drivers; ensuring that loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered, for accounting purposes
• Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete appropriate documentation
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments
• Provide detailed directions and instructions to route drivers

Logistics Specialist Qualifications:

• 1 year of customer service experience
• Strong phone and email communication skills.

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
