**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Cardiology department. This role involves supporting our cardiologists in delivering high-quality cardiac care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cardiology and a strong commitment to patient health and safety.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist cardiologists with patient examinations and specific procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms.

- Perform EKGs and blood pressure checks.

- Accurately record patients’ medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is precise and up to date.
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient education and support, answering questions related to cardiac health and procedures.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage patient flow to maximize clinic efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED required; additional certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Previous experience in a cardiology setting is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, especially related to cardiology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. (bi-lingual in Mandarin a plus)
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering compassionate care.
