On-Site Inbound Support Specialist

Job Description

The Patient Services Representative serves as a welcoming front-desk resource for adult patients at Comprehensive AFib Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA. This onsite role supports patient registration, check-in, appointment scheduling, insurance and demographic verification, referrals, and general clerical operations while providing compassionate service and effective communication. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with no weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

Register and check in patients for in-person and virtual visits.
Schedule routine appointments and basic healthcare services.
Verify patient insurance coverage and demographic information.
Request and attach referrals for office visits and basic healthcare services.
Perform front-desk operations and general clerical duties.
Use Epic and Cerner electronic health record systems.
Provide compassionate, responsive service to patients and their families.

Required Qualifications

At least one year of experience in a medical office or related healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications

At least one year of medical office administration experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with electronic health records, including Epic or Cerner.
Experience with appointment scheduling systems.
Experience with insurance verification and patient registration.
Strong customer service skills.
