Route Service Representative

Summary:The Route Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional service to an established customer base through the pick-up and delivery of uniforms, mats, towels, etc.. The Route Service Representative must effectively respond to the customer’s needs and also introduce new products as needed. The Route Service Representative will consistently maintain and present a professional image of Gallagher Uniform through excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.Responsibilities:Provide service in the most professional, timely and courteous way possibleDrive considerately and safely at all timesBe thoroughly knowledgeable of Gallagher’s products, services and follow all policies and proceduresExchange clean goods for dirty and accurately record amounts into a handheld deviceRenew Service AgreementsHelp achieve annual sales targets and average weekly revenue quotas by upselling additional products and service to customersQualifications & Educational Requirements:High School degree or equivalentChauffer’s license and a driving record that meets Gallagher Uniform’s insurance carrier standardsAbility to obtain and maintain a 1-2 Year DOT (Department of Transportation) cardAble to lift and carry bundles weighing up to 85 pounds short distancesAble to climb in and out of a truck several times a day in all kinds of weatherOutgoing, engaging personalityCustomer service experience preferredOrganized with strong communication skillsAble to manage time and meet deadlinesNon Tobacco or Cannabis userWillingness to run an overnight route once/week is preferredAdditional informationAttractive hourly rate plus commission opportunity for growing accountsPaid vacations and holidaysCompetitive health insurance including dental and visionProfit sharing4-day work week (day off cannot be guaranteed until a route is assigned)Excellent training and supportPotential for career advancement including opportunities to become a Route Specialist covering multiple accounts #J-18808-Ljbffr Gallagher Uniform
