What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients in a fast-paced environment
• Administer medications, perform lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts
• Monitor and operate advanced ICU equipment, including Alaris IV Pumps, Servo ventilators, dialysis machines, cardiac monitors, and more
• Float to ICUs, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU units as needed, maintaining flexibility and proficiency
• Manage ICU patient care independently within a 1:2 or 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio, with occasional 1:4 ratios in MS/PCU
• Follow infection control protocols for isolation and Covid-19 patients, including proper mask sizing

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• At least 2 years of ICU experience with Epic system experience preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH certifications (CPI available at the facility)
• Ability to float across units, including ICUs, ED, and PACU
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
