General Information:

• Location and/or time zone: PHK Beaverton
• Expected contract length: 6 months from start date
• Team details & who they will work with: Basketball team, coming in to support the team, FBAT Apparel Product Management, Global Jordan, JRD AP FBAT & Golf

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum required years of experience: 5+ YOE in Product Line Design with Apparel performance wear products. Open to streetwear if they have a strong passion for basketball
• Education requirements: Bachelors or equivalent experience

Must have skills:

• Basketball industry or culture experience, has a passion for basketball
• Knows how things get from point A to B, can take a project from start to finish
• Getting Geo feedback, implementing those changes into the design

Nice to have skills:

• Self starter, can hit the ground running, takes initiative to learn processes and take on new challenges, comfortable in fluid and ambiguous environments
• Strong communication skills, working highly cross functionally with Geo teams, can talk up or down seniority levels as needed

Who You'll Work With

• You will work closely with the Basketball Senior Product Director as well as Design, Technical Development, Merchandising, Sports Marketing, and elite athletes.

The candidate needs to have heightened awareness of basketball, fashion and performance industries/competitive landscape, a passion for Jordan Brand and product, and confidence with verbal and written communication.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Retail Merchandising, Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
• Minimum 5+ years' relevant experience in product-related roles
• Must have Product management experience.
• Knowledge in performance apparel is a plus.
• Leads with a positive collective spirit and creates a 'one team' environment across functions.
• Ability to operate effectively even when the way forward is not clear and to take an ambiguous situation and create a clear path forward for the cross-functional team.
• Ability to communicate in consistent, clear, agile, and timely manner with cross-functional partners - written and verbally.
• Strategic thinking with ability to balance elite athlete needs and unlock retail opportunities.
• Leads by example and can holds team accountable for meeting deadlines and delivering quality work.
• Ability to travel up to 30% domestic and international.

What You'll Work On

• If this is you, you will manage and oversee the product creation for our basketball consumer. This is a high visibility role with both strategic and creative facets of the work.
• You will lead product and design reviews, connect with merchandising at key strategy check-ins, participate in cross-functional meetings, create compelling visual tools to influence design, merchandising and our downstream geography partners.
