PCU Registered Nurse

$2203.20/week - Job Summary: Provide high-quality RN care on a PCU unit, supporting patients with diverse medical needs. This travel position requires a proactive, skilled nurse capable of managing complex clinical situations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans. Recognize and respond swiftly to dysrhythmias and critical drips. Administer medications and treatments according to protocols. Monitor cardiac and clinical equipment, ensuring accurate readings. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care. Document patient information accurately in the EMR system. Qualifications: Valid and active Compact RN license required at submission, along with NH RN license at start. Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience in a hospital setting. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Demonstrated expertise in dysrhythmia recognition and critical drip management. Skilled in pre- and post-cardiac cath and pacer patient care (preferred).
