International Innovation Banking Associate 1

Overview This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of our NYC office. The International Innovation Banking Associate I - Global Gateway, performs basic account management and portfolio management tasks under supervision, supports client onboarding, and assists with various aspects of the banking process in the technology and innovation sectors. Global Gateway helps entrepreneurs, executives and investors in emerging innovation centers worldwide with banking services and global market entry, advice and introductions. The Associate 1 will be focusing on helping manage our portfolio of banking clients based primarily in the Middle East and North Africa region. Responsibilities Client Relationship Management and Communication Support VPs with the client onboarding process Screen and onboard new clients Assist with basic account management tasks under supervision from RM team Help with SVB events and in-market activities Coordinate internal communications for client inquiries Engage with clients on basic information requests Portfolio Management and Product Delivery Perform basic portfolio management tasks with supervision Assist in capturing prospect/client information in onboarding process Support implementation of basic products and services Handle basic due diligence and KYC tasks under supervision Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of experience in banking/financial services and/or innovation/venture capital industry experience OR High School/GED with 5 year of experience Preferred Prior knowledge or experience in the Middle East and/or North Africa market or economy Finance, Economics or Business degree Strong interest in the innovation and venture capital industry and desire to understand market dynamics, sector trends, and investor relationships, having familiarity with platforms like Pitchbook and other resources Able to prioritize tasks with effective time management in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, analytical, and comfortable making data-informed decisions Strong relationship management skills A sense of urgency and proactivity Strong focus and ownership of the overall client experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work in a team environment and comfortable working independently Knowledge of banking products and operations Compensation The base pay for this position is generally between$76950 - $102600 annually. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
