Responsibilities
- Perform basic phlebotomy on patients/residents and obtain specimens according to policy
- Conduct accurate laboratory testing across applicable disciplines per department procedures to support patient care
- Prepare specimens, operate instrumentation, perform routine maintenance and quality control procedures
- Enter test results accurately into the Cerner system and verify data for reporting
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards; respond to critical values per protocol
- Communicate effectively with team members and clinicians to ensure timely and reliable results

Requirements
- Current Montana license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist
- Certification from ASCP or AMT
- Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience (including blood bank, microbiology, phlebotomy) and Cerner experience
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- Ability to work in a hospital travel assignment with day shift duties and the capacity to perform phlebotomy and laboratory testing
