Responsibilities Accountable for the operational results of General Foremen reporting to you and their crews. Schedule weekly crew visits, develop crews in project management and safety leadership, and review under‑performing jobs to create action plans. Implement the Corporate Safety Program within your workgroups through training sessions, tailgate meetings and award programs. Investigate accident claims with General Foremen and Corporate Safety and resolve them quickly, efficiently and responsibly. Ensure high‑quality arboricultural work through the QA/QC process. Ensure equipment repairs, preventive maintenance and purchasing procedures are followed. Create and maintain a communication cadence with existing customers to focus on satisfaction, retention and development. Ensure compliance with all customer contract specifications and requirements. Maintain open communication with the Division Manager on all operational activities. Foster relationships with potential customers as assigned by the Regional Vice President or Division Manager. Understand and administer all company policies and procedures. Attend internal and external training courses. Perform all other duties assigned by the Division Manager or Regional Vice President. Model Leadership in Action principles while developing and holding General Foremen accountable. Overall responsible for the professional growth and success of each General Foreman reporting to you. Use job costing reports to identify operational, cost‑control and trend issues to improve the business. Qualifications Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Foreman or related experience. Safety champion attitude. Valid driver’s license. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Capable of reviewing and preparing estimates for fixed‑price lump‑sum bids. Basic technology knowledge including e‑mail, Microsoft Office and smartphones. Willingness to travel by ground or air; emergencies may require extended out‑of‑town stay. If required by territory: ISA certification (Arborist, Utility Specialist, or Tree Worker) after one year of employment with company support. Preferred Qualifications Bi‑lingual (Spanish). Prior customer service experience. Ability to identify local tree species. Ability to learn new programs. QA/QC assessment experience. Demonstrated leadership and project management skills. Technology, Equipment & Tools Proficient with standard office equipment: computers, phones, scanners, fax and copier. Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook. Physical Demands Lift 25 lbs. to shoulder height or higher. Push or pull up to 25 lbs. Walk or hike up to one mile on uneven terrain. Endure extreme climate variances. Operate two‑handed tools and equipment. Stand, walk, sit and perform repetitive keystrokes for extended periods. Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or climb stairs.
