Accounting Assistant

Ledgent Finance & Accounting | Tampa, FL Position: Accounting Assistant Pay: $22-$25 per hour Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant for an established company in the greater Tampa Bay area. This full-time role will support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor management, and administrative accounting functions. Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable activities. Assist with client invoicing, payment tracking, and collections. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain organized accounting records and documentation. Support month-end reporting, data entry, and special projects. Qualifications: 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience. Knowledge of A/P, A/R, and general accounting principles. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong organizational, communication, and data entry skills. Full-time opportunity with a stable, growing organization.
