Financial Services Specialist/Financial Aid Liaison

Job TitlePOSITION SUMMARY: Works closely with Financial Aid to post anticipated and actual aid to student accounts. Performs reconciliation for withdrawn student's aid. Support credit card acceptance and reporting. Support Student Services Hub counter functionalities.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesApply financial aid to student accountsWork closely with financial aid counselors and director for updates needed to student accounts for financial aidComplete required documentation to remove aid after student withdrawalPerform cash drawer transactions and provide support at Student Services HubCoordinate returned check entries with Director of AccountingResearch credit card disputesMaintain automatic credit card program for student account paymentsPost bi-weekly earnings to student accountsProvide appropriate paperwork for financial aid auditRequest refund checks for student accountsMaintain multiple credit card accounts, reports and devicesTrack special offeringsTrack online course enrollment charges and creditsAnswer incoming phone callsRespond to customer inquiriesOther duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesKnowledge of accounting proceduresKnowledge of reconciliation proceduresGood computer skills10 key accuracyGood people skillsProfessional in appearance and presentationEffective in oral and written communicationMicrosoft OfficeAn applicant must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
