Regular team meetings and supervision sessions ensure that you remain connected and supported throughout your internship journey. Key Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy sessions and facilitate group therapy in a telehealth environment, developing a safe space for clients to explore their mental health issues. Collaborate with licensed therapists to create, implement, and adjust Personalized Treatment Plans (PTPs) tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client. Document all services rendered and client interactions accurately within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices. Participate actively in weekly clinical supervision meetings to discuss case progress, receive feedback, and enhance therapeutic skills. Utilize client feedback and progress metrics to adapt treatment goals, aiming to improve overall therapeutic outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus The Behavioral Health Intern role primarily focuses on adults facing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma‑related disorders, and adjustment issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and the ideal intern will gain valuable experience in culturally competent care while serving this varied population. Qualifications A valid intern license in Washington State (e.g., LMHCA, MFT Intern) is required to provide appropriate services. Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport and foster trust in a virtual outpatient setting. Excellent organizational skills and attuned detail to clinical documentation standards. Motivated to learn and grow, with openness to constructive feedback and commitment to professional development. Preferred Experience At least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, preferably in an outpatient or community‑based environment. Prior exposure to therapeutic practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or similar methodologies. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this role ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and applicable licensure.
