Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Special Education Teacher, supporting elementary students through a contract position covering a maternity leave from August to October 30th, 2026. Based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, you’ll work in a dynamic educational environment, making a real difference for an elementary Resource Specialist Program (RSP) caseload of 25 students. This is a full-time assignment where you can showcase your expertise and compassion in special education.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid and current California teaching credential in Mild/Moderate Special Education (required)
• Prior experience teaching or supporting students in Special Education settings, preferably in an RSP or elementary environment
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), accommodations, and modifications
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt and tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Proven organizational skills to manage paperwork, schedules, and compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide case management for approximately 25 elementary students, supporting academic and behavioral needs in alignment with IEPs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate instructional plans, tracking student progress and outcomes
• Deliver direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications both in the classroom and resource room settings
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports and assessments on time
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and other school or district initiatives
