Overview REAL Journey Academies (RJA) is a non‑profit charter school management organization dedicated to increasing college entrance and graduation rates for underserved students in the Inland Empire. Entrepreneur High School (EHS) is a brand‑new charter high school in Fontana, CA that teaches entrepreneurship across disciplines through a project‑based curriculum. EHS is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative teacher to design and deliver an interdisciplinary curriculum focused on entrepreneurship and technology. Responsibilities Develop and deliver project‑based, interdisciplinary instruction that revolves around entrepreneurship and technology. Work cooperatively with teachers from multiple disciplines to design curriculum and support student learning. Collaborate with community partners to provide real‑world internship, project, and study trip opportunities. Implement innovative teaching methods that encourage creativity, risk‑taking, and learning through failure. Model high standards of honesty, integrity, and professional poise. Qualifications Valid California single‑subject teaching credential in a relevant subject area. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree in subject matter field or education is preferred. At least two years of classroom experience with a proven track record of high achievement. Strong instructional and classroom management skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience teaching in an urban public school or charter school setting is helpful. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; experience with computers and software applications; ability to learn current software and technology. Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds; occasional standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping and reaching; occasional computer work. Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
