Financial Clearance Specialist

This role offers: A great work/life balance No weekends or evenings – Monday thru Friday Paid holidays and paid time off Rapidity growing team with opportunities for advancement Competitive compensation Benefits package Duties you will be responsible for: Production: Meets Quantity (100%) and Quality Required Benchmark (90% - To be evaluated through audits) Denial and rejection rate of less than 10% to demonstrate capability to effectively verify patient benefits and obtain required authorizations. (Effectiveness to be monitored in Visiquate and Waystar systems) Able to effectively manage assigned schedule to include verification of all insurance authorization requirements, benefits and patient demographics at the designated days out timeframe. Minimum Requirements High School diploma/GED required. Bachelor Degree preferred, but not required. 1 year of related experience, or any combination of education or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job. OH Insurance experience preferred. Experience in a healthcare environment or a healthcare claims environment is a strong plus. Knowledge of medical terminology utilized in insurance financial clearance, medical collections and billing (CPT, ICD-9, HCPCS). Previous Experience with OH Insurance Payers and obtaining prior authorizations.
