Wealth Senior Transformation Manager

Sr Transformation ManagerSenior leadership role reporting to the Strategic Initiatives Director, the Sr Transformation Manager is responsible for leading a team to deliver multiple projects or a program for key strategic initiatives in Truist Wealth through close partnership with Wealth Senior Leadership. The Manager will ensure the team is executing the projects/programs with standard project protocols including prioritization, planning, business readiness, and execution activities to ensure that Wealth cross functional project teams support attainment of Wealth's business and financial goals.Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.Lead the planning, implementation, business readiness, and execution of projects/programs to achieve Wealth's key initiatives. (Ex: Transformational changes, technology innovations, and efficiency improvements)Lead the team of Transformation Managers and Business Analysts to ensure their ability to effectively deliver project management, business readiness, client and teammate communications, and leadership.Engage with Risk partners to ensure project review, oversight, and mitigation in accordance with enterprise risk appetiteCollaborate with all working lines of business (LOBs) in the Wealth.Contribute to short and long-term project prioritization and planning in the Wealth Division and assist in attaining Wealth's established business and financial goals.Represent Wealth, as needed, on Truist enterprise-wide strategic projects. Establish and maintain a network of industry peers to stay abreast of current business and industry initiatives.Attract, retain, and develop top talent, with a strong focus on diversity, and mentor successors for key leadership positions and for opportunities across Truist.Promote a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with the Truist purpose, mission, and valuesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or equivalent education and related trainingTen years of experience in the financial services industry or consulting Five years of experience in managing high-performing teamsTrack record of successfully managing large projects and programs including those with both internal leadership and external consultantsExperience overseeing multiple business and technology programs using both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to lead executive-level meetings Conceptual ability to analyze problems and devise solutionsAbility and willingness to learn and adapt as the needs of the job change High level of business acumen, including the ability to balance the delivery of programs against the realities of a budgetDemonstrated proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products, Microsoft Project, VisioAbility to travel as needed, occasionally overnightPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in a business-related field Fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry or consultingProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification Wealth Management experience or knowledgeSound working knowledge of holistic banking/investment platforms, products, services, operations, finance and systemsTruist is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, color, religion, citizenship or national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran status, or other classification protected by law.
