Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required. License: Must have a valid nursing license. Certifications: BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Must-Have: 1 year of travel experience is required. EPIC experience is required. Description: The position involves working in a specialized unit within the Emergency Department for oncology patients. It is designed to meet the urgent and complex needs of cancer patients while maintaining a high-acuity environment. Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring is required. The expected patient ratio is 1:4. Floating to other units may be required. Experience in oncology is preferred, but not required. Candidates must currently be active in acute care within the last 12 months. Travelers must comply with credentialing requirements promptly to avoid delays. References from professional managers or directors are necessary.
