Job Summary

Our client is looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include providing comprehensive patient care, supporting clinical procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Rooming: Welcome patients, escort them to exam rooms, and efficiently document vital signs, medical histories, allergies, and current medications.
• Clinical Assistance: Support physicians during exams, treatments, and procedures; manage patient consents and educational materials.
• Phlebotomy & Injections: Safely administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections and perform blood draws in strict accordance with OSHA and safety guidelines.
• Clinic Operations: Prepare, stock, and disinfect exam rooms; manage medical supply inventory and process clinical equipment.
• Care Coordination: Manage patient scheduling for follow-ups, tests, procedures, and hospital admissions.
• Communication & Records: Triaged patient phone calls, coordinate prescription refills, and retrieve external medical records, scans, and test results.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Diploma
• BLS Certification

Experience

• Experience in oncology is preferred.
