Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/11/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Vivian Job Posting Template Position / Title: X-Ray Tech / CT Tech Facility Name: Monument Health Mall Dr ED Location: 1911 East Mall Drive, Rapid City, SD 57701 VMS / Req ID: 371757 / Job ID: 873896 Target Start Date: 09/07/2026 (ASAP Start) Shift Details: Three 12-hour day shifts per week (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM) What the Facility Wants (Requirements & Expectations) Experience & Qualifications Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of CT experience (send for manager approval if it has been some time since the candidate has performed X-ray). First-Time Travelers: Accepted, provided they are comfortable working independently. Education & Certifications: Graduate of a Radiology school. BLS and ARRT-CT required. (No state license required for South Dakota). Clinical Skills & Patient Types Patient Types: Peds through geriatrics. Walk-in ED patients (ambulances not accepted at this time), scheduled outpatient scans, walk-ins, and ER patients. Scan Types: Extremities, spine, abdomen, general CT, and X-ray scans. No neuro or cardiac (except strokes, which are quickly transferred out); no special procedures. Core Responsibilities: Must be comfortable performing both CT and X-ray duties independently as a solo tech. Charting & Technology: EPIC (EMR), Sectra (PACS), Siemens CT (Go Excite Software), and CareStream X-ray room/portable equipment preferred. Scheduling & Unit Details Shift Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM. On-Call: No on-call requirement. Holidays: Expectation to work 50% of holidays in the contract.
