Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

$1142.40/week - Job Summary: Seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join the emergency room laboratory team at a busy facility. The role involves performing point-of-care testing, clerical duties, and supporting laboratory operations on a rotating schedule. Responsibilities: Conduct and interpret point-of-care testing procedures accurately and efficiently. Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests following established protocols. Support lab operations by completing clerical tasks as assigned by nursing and lab leadership. Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Document test results and ensure accurate reporting in electronic medical records. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care. Qualifications: Hold an active and full clinical laboratory license; Associates degree is not sufficient. Certified as an MLS through ASCP or equivalent (CLS, MT). Demonstrate proficiency in point-of-care testing and laboratory procedures. Possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and nights. Prior experience in a hospital or emergency room laboratory setting preferred.
