Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This travel opportunity seeks an experienced Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist to work 30 hours per week, primarily on first shift (8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday or similar schedule) in Wiley, CO. This role focuses on inpatient hospital pharmacy practice within a busy hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols
- Prepare and verify IV compounding, utilizing USP <797> and <800> sterile and hazardous drug standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy and safety
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Colorado pharmacist license required
- Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience is essential
- Competent in IV compounding techniques following USP <797> and <800> guidelines
- Clean background with no history of DUI or related issues
- Strong supervisory and communication skills
