Laboratory Specimen Processor

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor for its Cincinnati laboratory facility. The role involves receiving, preparing, and processing clinical specimens while maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Monday-Friday schedule with rotating weekend coverage.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing and analysis
- Scan and enter specimen and patient information into systems
- Monitor lab equipment functionality and perform routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot specimen-related issues and maintain work area cleanliness
- Complete administrative logs and maintain compliance with standard operating procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfort handling biological specimens and accurate specimen identification
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and multitasking ability
- Physical capability to meet job demands and work in fast-paced environment
Compensation: $17.75 - $18.50 per hour
