Purchasing Specialist

Description Purchase or approve all materials and supplies necessary for manufacturing parts, excluding capital equipment.; Maintain inventory at planned levels, run material shortage reports, manage inventory, and post shear tickets.; Negotiate material pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.; Work directly from requisitions, technical drawings, and specifications.; Follow up on open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues.; Receive material packing slips in the computer system, code invoices, and maintain records of purchases. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
