Registered Nurse (RN)

Job DescriptionJob Description Job Summary TranscendED is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to support our residential treatment facility in Monroe, North Carolina (28110 & 28112). This is a part-time role requiring 25-30 hours per week, ideal for an experienced nurse who is confident working autonomously, yet looking to make a meaningful impact in a therapeutic setting focused on healing and recovery while working within a collaborative and innovative environment. The RN will ensure timely follow-through on all physician orders and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate comprehensive client care. Responsibilities Conduct weekly nursing visits for up to 6 clients at the residential facility Complete nursing notes and documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Perform admission nursing assessments Monitor and record daily vitals Administer medications each morning and initiate med count MAR management Coordinate follow‑up for medical orders, including labs, EKGs, and other appointments with Psychiatrist, PMHNP, FNP Collaborate with the Treatment Team to support holistic care Attend weekly interdisciplinary team meeting Provide nursing consultation as needed Administer first aid/body checks PRN Interpret clinical data and initiate the established protocols. Medication pickups at the pharmacy as needed. Qualifications RN in good standing in North Carolina Strong understanding of nursing principles and clinical practices Proficient in medication administration and use Experience with eating disorder or behavioral health clients is preferred Excellent communication skills both written and oral Credentialing & Physical Requirements Credentialing is required; details provided upon application Must be physically able to perform standard RN duties as needed Experience: Nursing: 3-4 years (Required) License/Certification: North Carolina Nursing Licensure (Required) Work Location: In person Work Location: In-Person, Monroe, NC #J-18808-Ljbffr iaedp
