Job Opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking to fill a position starting at the end of September to establish a team by October. This role will involve working as part of the new overflow unit task force and require flexibility in floating between various overflow areas, as well as potentially other Adult Health units at the Tucson Campus. Candidates may also be required to float to the South Campus, depending on staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Float between overflow areas and Adult Health units, providing care to patients in Medical-Surgical (MS), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Intermediate Care (IMC) settings.
• Assist in managing patient overflow in a high-volume healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Adapt to various clinical settings and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Level I Trauma center and large hospital environments is preferred.
• Previous travel experience in healthcare settings is required for consideration.
• Licensure and certifications must be current and valid for the state.

Location

This position is located in Tucson, AZ, with potential floating opportunities to South Campus as needed.
