Scientist I, Analytics - Mass Spectrometry

Catalent seeks a Scientist I in mass spectrometry analytics to perform routine sample analysis, method validation, and technical documentation for clinical and stability testing projects. The role supports regulatory submissions and development work at the Kansas City facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine sample analysis for release and stability testing using LCMS, GCMS, and ICP-MS
- Conduct method validation and transfer activities as required
- Author technical documents including protocols, test methods, and certificates of analysis
- Review technical documents for accuracy, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related physical science
- 6+ years relevant experience (or 4+ with Master's, or 0+ with Doctorate)
- 3+ years of LCMS experience
- Data processing, maintenance, and interpretation skills
- Instrument operation and troubleshooting proficiency across multiple techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
