As an Allied Universal officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to document and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, dock doors, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, verifying credentials, directing authorized individuals, and reporting discrepancies to site contacts.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing package handling areas, reporting damaged property or suspicious behavior, and communicating security-related concerns with supervisors and/or local management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
