As an Allied Universal officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 09:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 03:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to document and report observations according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, dock doors, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or policy violations. Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, verifying credentials, directing authorized individuals, and reporting discrepancies to site contacts. Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing package handling areas, reporting damaged property or suspicious behavior, and communicating security-related concerns with supervisors and/or local management. Minimum Requirements: A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
